How can we positively address our group's mental health to help them be their best?
Bill Guertin is the leader of the “7 Voices” Movement, whose purpose is to hear, recognize, and minimize the effects of the negative Voices inside people’s heads and to implement simple strategies to make positivity a life choice every day.
He understands the pressure leaders at every level are facing, especially those in sales, customer service and leadership whose lives are in the midst of uncertainty, and brings simple strategies to improve their results.
His strategies are in use in the ticket sales departments of over 100 professional sports teams throughout the US, Canada and Mexico, and he serves as Chief Learning Officer of ISBI 360, a virtual training network specifically for executives in sports and entertainment.
Bill has over 30 years’ experience in sales and leadership, including 20 years in broadcast media as a sales rep, sales manager and General Manager of radio properties in the Midwest.
When he is not working, Bill spends quality time with his wife, Sherri, their three grown boys and their families who enjoy Sundays together watching the Chicago Bears. He serves as a Board member of the Baylor University Center for Sports Strategy and Sales, and volunteers for the Kankakee County Humane Foundation, where he and Sherri have made forever homes for several very spoiled large dogs.
“I've seen Bill Guertin present many times over the past 15 years, at our own National Sports Forum as well as at numerous other conferences, and he's never once disappointed. After 25 years of producing the NSF, Bill remains one of my favorites. He creates a genuine connection with his audiences almost immediately, and can gain their respect and command their attention throughout, which is easily said but is far from easy to execute.
Bill has been a Featured Speaker, a Breakout Session leader, a Moderator and a Panelist at our annual event, and is a consummate professional in any role he’s asked to perform. Part of Bill’s "secret" is that he's extremely well prepared. He studies not just his subject matter but his audience, so he is ready for anything that comes up. I would highly encourage any organization considering Bill to pull the trigger; trust me, you won't be disappointed.”
-- Ron Seaver, President, The National Sports Forum
“Poised, electrifying, and charismatic, Bill Guertin sure knows how to move an audience! Bill presented an inspiring welcome address to our hundreds of ticketing executives at our three-day conference. Not only was his address rated among the top events of the conference, his book has recently become a must-read for my own staff. I would highly recommend Bill as a guest speaker to any event or organization looking to inspire their people and help them get that edge to succeed.”
-- Molly A. Merez, Ph.D., Executive Director, Ticket Summit
“We’ve been fortunate to work with Bill Guertin for many years now as a main stage speaker, breakout speaker, panelist and moderator for the ALSD Conference. Seldom do we come across anyone with more energy, polish, and a perfect voice for the job. He connects and engages with his audience with enthusiasm from start to finish, whether it’s an audience of a few dozen or several hundred, as I've been lucky to see up-close now for over a decade.
Our entire staff appreciates his attention to detail; he builds relationships easily with his audiences, he brings relevant, quaiity material, and has an impeccable reputation in the industry. If you’re looking for an engaging speaking professional, hire him!”
